Good days have a full circle way of tying up loose ends. For almost four months last year, I chabaoed this woman's brains to send/ msg/ bluetooth me her TM ringtone. I had a crap phone, 'meant no bluetooth for me, and her phone didn't do attach tune, so my sad no-melodier kept playing. Said coveted ring tune wasn't familiar to me initially, which is why I'd imitate it like this: kata-katang-kata kata-kataaaang kataaaaaaaaaangng! Elephunk, of course. You, lady, must partake in my excitement. I now am proud owner of kata katang, and it sounds as heart wrenching, calling out to me juuuuust like it did the first time I heard it and oui-yelped out of my seat when it bajjoed on yours. Ha, I have it, and I'm loving it. Also, remember Yeh Mera Diwanaapan? The Susheela Raman song from Namesake? Yellow, yes, I have I have, I have that song on my phone now. Double excitement!
Mayo the maid was here from Baambaay. IS here from Baambay, rather. But so much for asap meeting up plan, damn car started revving up on its own. Yep, standing still, NOT accelerating at red lights, I get strange looks. Ease up yo, they seem to say. Mental note to get that checked, "one can't carry ON like this" and all..
But meet we did, in spite of ignition insanity. In sodium-lamp-lit alleyways of Greater Kailash: is that you in black.. shrrrrriek, is that you in whiiitte.. three times shriller shriek..oh what fun it was to ride in, erm, aforementioned jalopy that was heating up by the minute.
I also love my header! Yaas, thank you lady of last comment, I weally do. Iss my gwamommy in law in her house on the Malabar! I am kneeled on the farsh wearing lovely brown shirt, being my polite well brought up self, and she -- boyo's nani -- clad in mehndi green sari is flaunting her memory and cracking fantastic one liners. Needless to say, we got along. I had to blur it, of course. I would display my photo shop prowess but why cater to sick in the head voyeurs. Note how well the colours go with rest of the template. I'm in the wrong profession, I tell ye..

about your car...I had the same problem with mine..just wonly gat it phiksed....
Gas pedal wire + spring needs replacement, and something called "the advance" needs to be tuned (don't ask me for clearer instructions, pliss...I can open up boot and do it in person, but can't remember what the various doodads inside a car's oily innards are called)
