One fine day, just like that

I got locked in the loo the same day I got stuck in a lift. This was yesterday. And if I had a nail cutter on me, I might have made better use of my time.

Far from a panic master, I've known for a while now that I'd be brilliant at crisis management. Things just tide over. And it requires least effort to just let them be. It also suits a basically lazy gene just fine. What needs more severe tackling is spilt ends. And much like filing nails in only ONE direction, it's important to snip only with cosmetic scissors. Not crude paper cutters, not nail cutters. Then on, you may toss about a healthy seductive mane, and good things will come your way.

You're assuming that there's somebody in the lift to toss your ,er, mane at....

Also...the second para makes me draw parallels b/w you and Lord Vetinari

from one lazy gene to another, I cannot tell you how busy I get doing nothing.

I wasn't assuming anything, but I'm ok with occasional paras being thought of as menacing.

Yea, avoiding summer internships has to be pretty taxing; peer pressure and what not. Take a few more days off, I say. Intensify the nothingness.

And both times, alone, mind you. I have to say, lift jams are unnerving. i mean, what if you had to pee, right.

I've started carrying my nail filer with me in my leeetle vanity kit after i read this. You do have some really good suggestions for whiling away time in case of...well..getting stuck in a loo- though i fear,if i got stuck in the lift with my filer, lord save my nicely french-manicured nails! Ick!
