I is too saxy for meh shoes

Every now and then, my father throws this Johari window term at me. I've never understood it too well, but I think it means the discrepancy between how you see yourself and how others see you. Going by a recent team building exercise at work, I apparently see myself as faithful and loving (2 adjectives for favourite animal; dog in my case) while what I'm perceived to be is stubborn and indifferent (2 adjectives for second favourite animal; cow). We were also asked to describe the ocean in two words -- tempestuous and erotic -- which is my attitude to life. Asked to describe the sky, I went with consistent and pleasing; which is how I view death. (...) But the last one brought the most laughs. Describe white water rafting -- scintillating and fun, I said -- which is supposed to be my understanding of sex, and just a far better answer than a "must try" that somebody came up with.

Later dissection led me to question why the hell I wrote cow. Plausible answer: because a lazy herd was blocking the road that morning, and they were the bloody last animals I saw. I could've just as easily gone with giraffe, and written, I don't know, tall and placid? Or even baboons: banana-eating swingers. Or Horses! I love horses. I could've written horses. But then splendid and graceful is a tad inflated. And so it's cool, cows have their place, remember Charlotte's Web?

'Tis a funky office that probes its employees understanding of sex. How exactly does this test work? And what is it you do for a living?

I agree. Never a dull moment in a newspaper office. Test works simply enough: conductor of sorts, tells u to be ready with pen and scribble pad, he/she calls out something random and tells you to associate two adjectives with yelled out term, and once that's done, turn by turn, everyone reads out their answers and bursts into giggle fits. :) insightful, and most fun.
